Prequalifying with GreenSky® uses a soft credit inquiry, which GreenSky states won't impact your credit score. A hard inquiry is only performed if you accept a loan offer and submit it for review. Prequalification is not a guarantee of approval.

Interest accrues and is billed during the promotional period, but all billed interest is waived if you pay off the entire purchase balance before the promotional period ends. If you don't, you're responsible for the interest billed during the promotion plus any interest after it ends. Your promotional period is shown in your loan agreement.
